Overlooking picturesque Lake Derwentwater, the four-star Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa is set in forty acres of tranquil land with a waterfall and a lakeshore.

Views across the lakes or mountains feature in many of the rooms at Lodore Falls. Free Wi-Fi is provided, and the elegant rooms also feature tea and coffee facilities.

Mizu Pan Asian Restaurant serves a selection of Japanese, Chinese and Thai-inspired dishes, freshly prepared from the finest ingredients with a Lake District twist.

The Falls Spa offers a thermal suite with twelve different heat experiences, five treatment rooms, an exclusive Champagne bar and an outdoor infinity-edge vitality pool, with neck jets, underwater loungers and stunning views.

Guests staying in a Lodore Suite or Deluxe Spa Suite receive two hours of complimentary access to the spa per day, bookable once your reservation is confirmed.

Guests staying in all other room types can book two hours of access to the spa, subject to availability at an additional cost.

The Falls Brasserie award-winning Lake View Restaurant has a varied menu of local produce and fine cuisine, serving light meals and afternoon teas. The lounge bar offers cocktails, real ales and afternoon tea.

Really great stay and we hope to return.

Fantastic location and spa. Lake view room was just lovely. Parking was excellent. Walks from the door - we did not use the car whilst staying. The staff were uniformly excellent, really helpful and welcoming. Great areas for sitting, eating and drinking within the hotel. Areas for dogs and areas where dogs were not allowed. Room was lovely with good bed, coffee, tea and bathrobes.

WiFi kept on dropping off. The shower was poor power for this level of hotel - not like in the spa.

Excellent way to celebrate our 63 years of marriage.

The service and the location were excellent. I have come to the Lakes since I was a little girl and continued to do so with my family.

Gorgeous, but many improvements needed

Was beautiful place and came with couple but very missleading. It does not explain in the main fine print that u need to pay extra for the spa… £35 extra during weekend. Since they closing down. I understand this being higher but with this being a unknown location I get it being lower in price

Was very dated and walls being thin. This was expressed to be updated in the new renovation of the building when everything was closed down. It was almost as if they had set everything up for us coming and going as when we came and left everything was here and gone and gave off strange vibes.

Spa great, hotel can do better

Location, spa facilities

Not as clean as would expect - food on dining room floor, bed runner matted and soiled, clothing and food scraps of rooms previous occupancy still evident in room. Decor in room starting to look worn. No Tv remote.

Beautiful location , lovely stag , bedrooms need a good update !

Over priced, shocking £22 for fish n chips and small portion

Nice bar and restraunt

Over priced to be fair. Room had no view and was small for one night £340 shocking. Bar service was very slow for amount of people in. With food,spa,room cost for one night was £630 I won't be back at those rates

Fantastic place with great views and facilities.

Very nice and clean, facilities were good and the staff were friendly.

The spa cost was £80 and felt a lot of money for two people for the time you got there. And had to book in advance which made planning the weekend hard to do.

Great hotel , spa was Asian restaurant amazing

Loved everything, but the shower was poor, no pressure at all. Big note is that they don't take cash, everything is classless so that is disappointing. Since when is cash not acceptable in hotels.

The shower pressure was so bad.
